FULL OF PREMIERES

10 absolute premieres in Spain, plus 8 premieres in Castile and León and 1 World Premiere.

NEW SPACE

A new space from the artistic heritage of Ávila is being added to the Festival, namely the Monasterio de Santa Ana, the current seat of the Regional Delegation of the Government of the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León in Ávila. With the selection of this new space, we are prioritizing the character of the festival, opting for scenic spaces in the city’s corners of heritage, particularly the patios of the Ávila palaces.

NEW SECTION

The 6th edition of the Festival is adding a new section, ‘Circus Music’, with the show ‘In Concert’ by the Belgian company BECIRQUE. It is their Spanish premiere.

Accesible and sustainable festival

Cir&co grows in quality and it makes with strong effort in accesibility and sustainability

The festival has programmed the work ‘Mur’ by the Catalan Company ‘(Cía)3’, in the Lienzo Norte, a show that is exemplary of inclusion, which prompts reflection about physical and mental limitations.

Additionally, every endeavour is being made to ensure that all the festival programme has spaces adapted and reserved as well as sign language services and facilities for visually impaired persons

As an innovation in this edition, we are working on a decided commitment with the environment thanks to the collaboration of private companies, such as ‘Ecoembes’ which joins us as a new collaborator, and ‘Coca-Cola’ across the programme ‘Events with a good atmosphere’ which the ‘Cir&Co’ festival has selected to form part of same.
