‘Cir&Co 2017’ reinforces the social character of the Festival with the aim of bringing culture closer to all people

The Junta de Castilla y León is committed to the accessibility of culture, enhancing and reinforcing the shows accessible in cultural events such as ‘Cir&Co’ the International Circus Festival of Castilla y León, to be held in Avila between 5 and 10 September . Cir&Co 2017’s programming also includes a section called ‘Cir&Co Social’, with which it wishes to recognize the important contribution of circus arts as a whole to the integration and inclusion of different groups in situations of social vulnerability. ‘The Route of the clown’ is the show scheduled by the circus school ‘Carampa’ – National Prize of Circus 2011 – and will feature the participation of the Madrid artist ‘Mike Dos Perillas’ and the Argentine artist ‘Nando Caneca’. The circus functions in residential centers will take place between September 6th and 7th at the Vistasol Residence, Elena Infantas and Cristina Center, Asidema Residencia de mayores, Santa Teresa Jornet Residence, María de la Paz Residence, Casa de Misericordia Residence, Residencia Decanos And the Residence of the Junta de Castilla y León.
